The road from Succisa to Case Rotelli is 2k.
You pass by a small mountain stream and under the overpass
of the Autostrada that runs from Parma to La Spezia.
It's on this road that we stopped
to pet the horses and while we lingered there we met Adriana
and her friends heading towards Succisa. Then Adriana's
childhood friend, Mattia, came speeding by on his motorino
en route to Berceto, the first big town on the other side
of our mountain (no longer Toscana, but Emilia Romagna).
