Paolo, Caretaker of the Cargalla Cemetery
Paolo is the guy who takes care of the Cargalla cemetery. He keeps dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks and geese.

Renato told me that Paolo's mother-in-law was abused by her husband and she finally killed him back in the 1970s (she was already in her 80s). She did time in prison, although her sentence was reduced.

Paolo's still married, but long ago his wife decided that she didn't want to live up by the cemetery anymore -- so she moved back home to her mother, the ex-con.

Below are pictures of the children playing with Paolo's new batch of kittens.
